Technology Intergration

The purpose of this collection of sites is to explain how to go about integrating technology into a daily occurrence in a classroom. Below you will find four content area examples to provide guidance on what one could do with the four types of technology integration strategies.  The examples provided on these sites are a mere fraction of what one could do with technology in these selected content areas, and some of the examples provided can transcend to different content areas.

 

Types of Technology:

 

Internet for Instruction: Strategies that use the Internet and the World Wide Web to help supplement instruction.

 

Tool Software: Programs that allow students, and teacher complete tasks

 

Instructional Software:  Software catered to a specific content to supplement instruction or produce learning activities for students.

 

Productivity Software: Software that allows teachers to properly prepare for developing a lesson for instruction.
